Black Adam magazine cover shows a detailed look at Dwayne Johnson’s costume

A new cover of the latest issue of Total Film reveals a thrilling, intimidating, and highly detailed look at Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam costume.

New magazine cover reveals a close, detailed look at Dwayne Johnson Black adam suit. After spending years in development and seeing its production delayed by the coronavirus pandemic, Black adam will finally arrive in theaters next summer. Johnson was officially cast for the role in 2014, though he had tried to make a film that focused on DC’s villain-turned-anti-hero for years. Filming took place earlier this year, overseen by director Jaume Collet-Serra. From its packaging, Johnson has revealed several glimpses of Black adam, including actual footage from the movie.

Plot details are still being kept under wraps, although it seems Black adam will touch on the character’s origins as a slave in Kahndaq thousands of years ago. As the first trailer revealed, Black Adam is resurfacing these days, and anyone can guess what he’ll do once released. The film also stars Aldis Hodge, Noah Centineo, Quintessa Swindell, and Pierce Brosnan as the Justice Society of America, while Sarah Shahi is reportedly playing a version of Adrianna Tomaz.

Dwayne Johnson Black Adam Costume Full Movie Cover

Johnson’s Black Adam costume was first seen in the footage shown at DC FanDome, though the quick trailer doesn’t offer many details. The image above allows fans to zoom in on all of the small engravings and symbols that make up the costume, several of which are believed to date back to its early days in Kahndaq. Black Adam brings with him a deep mythology, as well as a lot of power. Johnson promised Black adam going to disrupt the DCEU hierarchy, so fans better prepare.

Since it took years for the tiniest news about Black adam to emerge, this new influx of updates is welcome. The last fans heard, Black adam was still being edited and Johnson was feeling good, but not happy with the rough cut. With over seven months to go until the film hits theaters, there’s a long way to go to make it perfect. Now that fans have been given a better look at Johnson’s character, hopefully a full trailer will arrive soon. Perhaps the first few months of 2022 will contain a lot more teasing for Black adam.
