Chris Evans has a perfect reaction to sharing Empire magazine cover with Rey from Star Wars

The latest cover of Empire Magazine is dedicated to the “greatest movie moments of all time” and many of our favorites are featured on the cover, including a group of people involved in Star Wars and Marvel. There’s James Gunn and Groot, Paul Rudd in his Ant-Man costume, Taika Waititi with Thor’s hammer, Tessa Thompson in his Valkyrie costume, Mark Hamill and R2-D2, Rian Johnson, JJ Abrams and BB- 8, and much more. The cover also features Chris Evans as Captain America alongside Daisy Ridley’s Rey. Evans recently shared the cover and expressed his enthusiasm for his seat partner.

“I bought @empiremagazine since issue 2 (read 1 in WH Smith), so it’s a pleasure to write for them on a subject that I am so passionate about: the magic of cinema. curated stories from stars, directors and most of all, you guys! I can’t wait for you to read. Released Jan. 21, “director Edgar Wright shared on Twitter. “Oh my god I’m sitting next to Rey. Just be cool man,” Evans replied. The magazine includes more than just people involved in Marvel and Star Wars. You can check it out in the tweet below:

This week, Evans fans were shocked to learn that there was talk of his return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The actor took to Twitter after rumors circulated the internet to write “News for Me,” but we all know we can no longer trust the Marvel actors when it comes to the cast. Most recently, Tatiana Maslany and Hailee Steinfeld denied reports that they played She-Hulk and Kate Bishop respectively, which turned out to be true. However, in the past Evans has said that returning to play Cap after Avengers: End of Game would be a “risky” step.

“Yeah, I think it’s done. I mean, it was a great race and we came out on such a high note,” Evans said previously on The Graham Norton Show when asked if he was “definitely done” playing Cap. “What are the odds of having a character that lasts this long, with so many stories landing on their feet in the final chapter?” He added: “To come out on that note it would be risky to revisit, in my opinion… And it was such a good experience, I think it is better to stay like this.”

What do you think of the Empire Magazine blanket? Do you hope Evans returns as Cape? Let us know what you think in the comments!
