Bombay (Maharashtra) [India]Aug 28 (ANI): Bollywood screenwriter Kanika Dhillon, who has contributed her writing to films like ‘Haseen Dillruba’, ‘Manmarziyaan’, and more, has become the first-ever female writer to feature on a magazine cover international Bollywood.
German magazine ISHQ celebrates Kanika’s phenomenal filmography in its latest issue. The ace writer-producer is a sight to behold in a white dress paired with silver jewelry as she shoots the magazine’s cover girl.
Kanika, who has always defended writers and their rights, dedicated the glory to her tribe.
Sharing the exciting news on her Twitter account, she wrote, “Onwards and upwards – with gratitude, love and light! … when a screenwriter graces the cover of an international Bollywood magazine – it’s the perfect time to content creators and writers! Cheers to my tribe and may we all go from strength to strength!”
Recently, Kanika also became the first writer to land the highest rating for Netflix’s ‘Haseen Dillruba’ trailer.
As an author, Kanika had also published three novels, ‘Bombay Duck is a Fish’, a satire on the Indian film industry, the young adult superhero novel ‘Shiva and the Rise of Shadows’ and the drama “Durga’s Dance”. ‘. (ANI)
