A party worthy of Gatsby the magnificent theme
Marie Westwood Magazine powered by Ivan Bitton Style House celebrated its Winter 2019 edition with Mario Lopez and Kalia Methven on its double cover. Play on the theme of Geat gatsby at the historically haunted Cedars Estate and home of designer Sue Wong, formerly known as Norma Talmadge Estate in Los Feliz, California.
Marie Westwood celebrities on the scene include James Kennedy (Vanderpump Rules), Khloe Terae (Canadian Playboy Model), Grant Kemp (Bachelor in Paradise), Celeste Thorson (How I Met Your Mother), Marc Jacobs (Designer), Jamal Antar (The Mandalorian), James Moore (The Punisher), Ali Levine (Stripped), Johnathan Motley (LA Clippers), Walter Jones (Power Rangers), Patricia Rogers (Surviving R Kelly), Kenneth “KJ” Johnson (HachÃ©), Devon Winsor (Model VS), etc.
Invitational guests sampled small plates of fusion sushi, paella, bolillos, mosaic gelatin, and other gourmet Mexican dishes. Drinks included a Holland Valley coffee bar and coffee infused cocktails with Bogarts whiskey, Lamborghini champagne, Casa Mexico family tequila from El Nacimiento distillery, Nuda magic from the first sip, Hecho – the Original tequila soda without artificial sweeteners or colors, and fruit -Water Infused Tip.
DJ Patrick Perfetto kept the party going and guests were treated to a live performance by Laura Pieri. The starting gifts included luxury items from the brands Bodega, Timeless Skin Care, Health Bomz, Blow Dry Bar Torrance. Vitality furniture provided the decor, while production from Dream House Marketing and Branding helped lead production.

His demeanor and character as a person exudes Gatsby. So many people can appreciate all the hats he wears in fashion, parenting, entertainment and as a successful entrepreneur, âsaid CEO Ivan Bitton.
Cover model Kalia Methven’s work is also featured in the issue. âMarie Westwood Magazine is about sexy silhouettes and designers whose collections have been heavily influenced by music. Who better to represent this than Madame Special K. Kalia pulled off with her festival-inspired glow and left guests beaming after hours, âsaid Creative Director Aaron Gomez.
The Winter 2019 edition offers eclectic fashion
Marie Westwood magazine’s fashion presentations included Japanese shoes Akemi, 5 Yuri, Sue Wong and Exotics By Cedrick.
Famous lingerie designer and KFC heiress Kaila Methven previewed her EDM-inspired Madame Special K lingerie line, dance club outfit. The festival’s first-ever fashion couture lingerie line, it features vibrant and electrifying colors that feature mix n ‘match options, glow in the dark and detachable aspects of her designs. Combining fashion with a conscious cause, the Legacy Charitable Foundation (501c3) was the philanthropic partner of Marie Westwood.
The mission of the Legacy Charitable Foundation is to compassionately engage in helping the surrounding Los Angeles community as a whole by promoting social welfare and supporting other nonprofit organizations with an emphasis on l ‘enrichment and improvement of health research on Alzheimer’s disease and cancer.
