Do: There has been no recent issue of TIME magazine with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the cover. A similar artwork of Vladimir Putin with a Hitler mustache was also falsely shared as the cover of TIME magazine. Therefore, the claim made in the message is FAKE.
When we searched for the latest cover of TIME magazine, a photo was found retweeted by TIME magazine’s official Twitter account. We couldn’t find the same photo of PM Modi with Hitler’s mustache.
A simple Google search for “TIME magazine covers” led us to the vault, the online archive of TIME magazine where all the covers published by the magazine are stored. When looking for the covers of TIME magazine for the year 2022none of them featured Narendra Modi’s cover with a Hitler mustache.
Earlier, a similar artwork of Vladimir Putin with a Hitler mustache went viral on social media as the cover of TIME magazine; Factly had written an article debunking the same thing.
